which sounds better to play guitar with pic or finger?

cos if u play with ur fingers its ok but if u get ur fingers wet and it dries u hear tht low sound a bit u know tht it doesnt sound right and when u play with a pic its a bit weird cos u can hear the scarping of the pic. which sounds better? ive been playin for 10 months now and im 14 btw
