What’s a good guitar book for beginners?

I’m just now starting to play the guitar and i was wondering what are some amazingly awesome guitar books for beginners?

Begin with Book One of the Hal Leonard Beginning Guitar Method series, with or without the CD.

Inside are instructions in tuning, maintenance, chords, and, most important, basic music theory for the guitar with accompanying exercises.

They are great books to learn through.
