How to get pop punk sound out of guitar?

Okay so i have a Peavey Bandit 112 Transtube Series amp and today I got an Epiphone Les Paul Model guitar. I want to get a pop punk sound like Hit The Lights, All Time Low, Blink 182, etc. I use the modern distortion level and it also has pre-gain, low, mid, high, and post-gain. I would like to know how to set those five for the best pop punk sound. Thanks!

guitar should be on treble pickup, center low and mid, 3 quarter higain preamp medium and post amp 3 quarter, thats what i would set it on without seeing it, plus peavy amps are geared for blues rock not so much hard rock, a boss md-2 pedal, or ml-2, or mt-2, or even an mxr 6 channel eq stomp box will pull aout more of the distortion you want, dont use alot of sustain either.
