What’s the differnece between chords and tab?

ok. I’m learning to play “bubbly” by Colbie Caillat on my guitar, and i learned the chords for it, but then i read that it sounds more like the song if i used tab. But, i don’t know what the difference is. And plus, tab is so confusing! i don’t understand it AT ALL. =P Could u please help me to understand tab more? please and thank u. =P

well tabs are more like just regular playing and chords are like when you hit power chords they make the guitar sound more hard like when you play hard rock………
