If I buy a base guitar in england could i bring it over to canada and use a canadian amp? ?

Well im thinking of buying a bass guitar im currently in england but i might be moving back to canada i was wondering if i could buy a bass guitar here (in england) then when i move back to canada would i be able to use the bass or would the different voltages in the plugs make the guitar unable to work?? IM DESPERATE FOR THE AWNSER THX :)

The bass is no problem
You can plug any bass into any bass amp.
No matter where the bass is made.

Where you would have to be careful, is with the amps,
Don’t buy and amp in England and expect to use it here,
We use 120 volts, they are between 220 and 240 volts ?

we are 60 Hz, here, I know MOST of Europe uses 50 Hz, not sure about England, and converters won’t help change the Hz, only the volts.
Not sure I’d trust one, tho?

These voltage differences only apply to the amp, NOT the bass, it doesn’t see any voltage from the amp,
so you can plug any European bass, in any American amp, and vice / versa

O Canada (electric guitar)
