what comedian did this air guitar stand up act?

a while back i saw on a movie channel one of those comedy club show. and i witnessed a man playing air guitar and acting out his child hood dream of becoming a rock star. His set up was him and a boom box. the boom box made all the guitar sounds and eventually he got into an arguement with his dad. i know this is very vague but please help me
