How do you get the wii sd card to work with guitar hero world tour?

I needed some extra space so i could download a couple of other songs so I transfered my songs to the wii sd card. however, when i go to archive in the guitar hero options menu, it doesn’t show that there are any songs on the sd card. Can someone go through the steps so that I can make sure I did it right, or give me some tips on why the songs will not show up and how to fix that?

I believe you have to have the songs on your Wii memory to use them, SD is just for backup.
