What is the best guitar playing is metal?

I've had my Ibanez RG Series for about 4 years and is good for riffs, but I like it sound tracks in search of game. I think my pedal is not bad. This is a DigiTech RP100. What is the best guitar for metal style is in your opinion?

The RG should be fine – so it has humbuckers is sufficient to drive the amplifier. The weak link is probably the amp you are using. Even using a pedal, as the RP, the amplifier gain should be crank – and the power section has to be enough to charge the speakers for good sound advantage.
