Don’t YouTube Covers, such as a drum or guitar cover, qualify as fair use?

I’ve had one video taken off YouTube (but it got TayZonday to comment on it, so that helps) and one off of Facebook, with Facebook threatening to remove my account if I did it again. Don’t these covers, which were both drum covers of other songs, qualify as fair use? If I altered the songs with EQing and added a disclaimer, might it help me to keep my videos up?

Maybe, but YouTube has removed uploaders, with prejudice, for doing exactly this. It is YouTube’s site, they can ban you if they like.
