Exline, Iowa – The Exline Old Country Store and Antique Exchange (www.exlinecountrystore.com) held their 6th anniversary of the opening of the store on Oct. 31. About 7 years ago, local native Morgan Cline suggested that his hometown is an "old village shop with all good things, "he remembered as a child. The locals got together and supported the effort with the opening of the store comes a year later. Now, six years later had his 6th birthday party! Local entertainment was provided by Rodney Randall Jim Traxler harmonica and playing his guitar and singing. A good time was had by all. Since the celebration of Halloween is celebrated each year with a pumpkin carving contest was held. This year there were 12 entiries, which is A record! These sales are available at the shop and awards given at the end of the day to thank the community for support and companies that have given us throughout the year.

The Exline Old Country Store and old Exchange was only the beginning of a series of projects developed by Morgan Cline Exline. In addition, Cline moved a room school house in the area of Main Street and renovated as a replica of the original school. Then there was the small building that did Withrow EE the same for what is the office of community improvement. Through investments by Cline and his vision, the Exline Old Country Store and old exchanged shall be on the map and attracts tourists from everywhere.
