I'm trying to find a specific issue of guitar world magazine. I do not know what topic is, but I know it from 2007 and Kirk Hammet is on the cover. Where I can find this issue and that the purchase? Guitar Center believe they have it? or maybe a bookstore like Barnes and Knoble or borders? bone. I checked and i didn't see where I wanted. think maybe it was not the guitar world he did? what other guitar magazines are there out?

This month's edition is so you can find in any book or most convience stores.

Les Claypool

Biography
The early years
Claypool was born September 29, 1963 in Richmond, California, but grew up in El Sobrante, California in a working class family with a history of work as auto mechanics. His early education includes Collins Elementary School and De Anza High School. Parents "are divorced when he was a toddler, but he said he had a decent childhood, noting that he has never had of serious violence or intimidation.
Claypool developed a technique for slap bass listen to other bassists like Stanley Clarke and Larry Graham. He also bought his first Carl Thompson bass, his trademark four string bass. (Claypool said in August 2009, now has 13 low, including a multi-timber Fretless 6 strings called Under the Rainbow.)
In 1986, after the death of bassist Cliff Burton of Metallica, Les Claypool auditioned to play bass for Metallica, playing the song "Master of Puppets" on his bass. In Metallica behind the music, Claypool said at the hearing jokingly asked the other if they wanted to "jam on some Isley Brothers songs." James Hetfield said Claypool did not win the job because he "Was too good."
Primus

Primus began as Primate with Les Claypool, guitarist Todd Huth and different drummers, including Jay Lane, the mid-1980s, despite being Huth and left shortly after to pursue other projects. Claypool for replaced by guitarist Larry Lalonde and eclectic drummer Tim Alexander in 1989 (Tim "Herb" Alexander left the band in 1996 and was replaced by Brian "Brain" Mantia). Primus began selling in local clubs with his act outside the direct control and an irreverent approach to music (Its motto was "Primus sucks!"). This was later changed.
From 1989 to 2000, Primus steadily became one of the most bizarre important to gain antenna, headlining Lollapalooza in 1993, appearing on Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 1995, and even make an appearance at Woodstock '94, where he Pork Soda her hit "My Name Is Mud" and were the target of mud (Claypool claims to still have mud on your speakers.) In 1994, Claypool Team with guitarist Todd Huth and drummer Jay Lane to create a sound of Primus first. Titles like "Riddles are abound Tonight" and "Toyz 1988" (now known as "toys crown") has given way to a new kind of music.
Holy Mackerel
In 1996 Claypool produced, directed and produced a solo album, "Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel gifts" Highball with the Devil. It has been shown to select (including the value added of Bonnaroo Music Festival 2005) and his band on tour, and then click New, Les Claypool and his band of fantasy. 2005 Fancy Band line-up also includes Skerik, Dillon and Lane.
In late 2005 Claypool Released 5 gallons of diesel fuel, a video retrospective of his work outside of Primus.
2006
Electric Apricot

Claypool is the first attempt at a feature film, Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo, was presented at several film festivals in late spring 2006. The film is a parody of the jam band scene tape focused on counterfeiting, Electric Apricot, in the tradition of this mockumentary Spinal Tap Is. "The group has demonstrated low profile in the region of California (Most recently High Sierra Music Festival) for the filming. The group members are characterized by Steve Hampton Trouzdale (Adam Gates) on bass and vocals, Steve "Gordo" Gordon (Brian Kehoe) on guitar and vocals, drum Herschal Brillstien (Jonathan Korty) on keyboards and vocals, and of course Lapland "Little dog "Miclovik (Les Claypool) on drums and vocals. The premiere March 15. During a question and answer session at the Tiburon Film Festival, where the film debuted Claypool said the DVD would still unreleased CD soundtrack. The film has won other awards and the best features (Audience Choice) at the Malibu Film Festival. Claypool also said that the group should proceed to a select few shows, but a visit is unlikely Gates, Adam has a job at Pixar which makes touring difficult. Other appearances in the film include Arj Barker, Dian Bachar, Matt Stone and Sam Maccarone.
Ay yy whale Fancy Band

May 30, 2006 Claypool released a solo album, whales and Ay, with appearances Results Skerik, Mike Dillon, and Gabby La La. The album contains the song "Robot Chicken", which is the subject of the popular Adult Swim. His son and daughter Cage Lena even make an appearance on the song "Back Off Turkey". The launch was followed by a U.S. tour with the following programming: Les Claypool – bass, vocals; Skerik – sax, Mike Dillon – vibraphone, percussion, Gabby La La – sitar, theremin, Paulo Baldi – drums. This training is called Les Claypool's Fancy Band and a national tour in 2006 and 2007. A live DVD, Fancy, engraving Tour 2006 was published in 2007. The audio track includes a mixture of both sound recordings and conical. A song from the album, "One Better" has been used in National Lampoon's TV: the movie in a fight scene between Preston Lacy and Lee Majors.
South of the Pumphouse

Claypool's first book, south pumping station, was released on 1 July 2006 by Akashic Books. Copies of the book were sold in 2006 Claypool Tour U.S. following publication of whales and woe. The book is a dark tale intelligent brothers, murder, drugs and fishing, and was compared with the work of Hunter S. Thompson. Claypool gave his first interview on The Book Standard, May 11, 2006. South of the pumping station is at its seventh printing.
2007 – present
In addition to traveling in the summer of 2007 at the national level with the band costume, made the Claypool October with a version of the band, known Fantasy Trio. The trio of Les, Skerik on saxophone and Mike Dillon on drums, vibraphone and percussion. In 2008, an American tour Kingdom extended from February 29 April 5. He started in the theater district in Charlotte, NC North and ended at the Warfield in San Francisco, California. The 2008 tour was a foursome with Claypool, Dillon, Skerik and Baldi.
In During Claypool also performed several shows with Primus festivals across the United States and Canada.
Pig Hunt is a film directed by James Isaac, to be published 2008. Claypool brings new elements and plays the role of "The Preacher".
The written several songs for the Wii game Mushroom Men, released in December 2008.
On December 31, 2008, I rang the new year with its New Year's Eve show. It was in the San Francisco Opera House with Zappa Zappa Plays sharing agreement and to play first.
Has also been a judge for the 7th annual Independent Music Awards. Their contributions have helped the independent artists from racing.
Ottawa Bluesfest 2009
I second solo album, mushrooms and Foe was released March 17, 2009. The album consists of expanded material of the music game Mushroom Men and image of the movement of pig hunting, and an appearance by Eugene Hutz Gogol Bordello.
In June 2009, Les is on tour with Matisyahu, acting as a "dual function" series, and thus appear on stage.
Life Style
He lives near the village of Occidental Sonoma County, California with his wife, Chaney Claypool, his son, Cage Oliver Claypool, and his daughter Lena Tallulah Claypool. His house is called "Rancho Relaxo" after an episode of the Simpsons where Marge is sent to a spa of the same name. Record more of his music at home. It is famous for its sense the quirky humor and overall very eccentric personality. Recently, it has been very open about their political views the Liberals and their dissatisfaction with President George W. Bush.
Claypool is an avid fly fisherman and even appeared in a guest Special Registration 2004 Fly Fishing World filmed in Idaho and a record 2005 in Quebec, Canada. Both episodes are available in the extras section of 5 gallons of diesel fuel.
