It seems to me like a lot of modern bands sound sugar coated/watered down. What are your favorite modern bands that don’t sound like that? Please post youtube links if you can.

BQ-Is sophomore year easier then freshman year or is it just me so far? (yeah, yeah i know im going to want to kill myself next year because junior year is so hard i have already heard it)
“Acid Bubble” – Alice In Chains (With great audio)
MQ: I haven’t heard much controversy other than the crappy graphics…they made his mouth and guitar too big…haha. People have made him out to be a pretty sh*tty guitarist, which isn’t the case….since most of them don’t realize that he practiced in such a way, as to learn a punk style of playing. It fit Nirvana, there would be no sense in him busting out Zeppelin type solos in the middle of a song like Heart Shaped Box.
MQ2: “Frogs” – Alice In Chains
BQ: Sophomore is easier (if you’re talking about high school), by the time I was in twelfth grade, I was completely apathetic towards school, it sucks the life out of you, and steals your creativity.
