Historically, there have been some awesome guitar players since the innovation and advances that have made the electric guitar a reality. Since the sixties guitar evolution has moved from the realm of fantasy into history and beyond. Guitarists over generations have and continue to perform amazing feats on their guitars.

Among the great creators of classical guitar music was a man named Chuck Berry. After it came as big as Pete Townsend and Jimi Hindrix. The rocking sounds reverberating from their electric guitars shook the very foundations of society and history of music. The electric guitar became an expression of entire generations of guitar music that was created still speaks volumes to this very day.

Jimi Hendrix may well be one of the most impressive records of an electric guitar. In the Summer of Love, 1969, he played the National Anthem of the States USA in their feet in a three-day music marvel known as Woodstock. The whole music festival at Woodstock was a historic event. However, if you ask any people who were there, all that is remembered more than anything else was Jimi Hendrix playing the national anthem with his feet.

In the seventies, the country went through a transition phase as a nightclub made his short tenure in the guitar's history and then we moved to the eighties, where big hair bands guitar was screaming and crying in a musical machine. Artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton made another mark on history by creating another new guitar and amazing fashion mix of blues with rock and roll.

Throughout the eighties and nineties, the guitars took a heavy tone as grunge and punk moved to light. They were frequently interrupted by alternative bands as well, all of whom made their own small mark on the history of the guitar.

As we enter the 21st century, space is left for the next hero Juke Box, which will come with the next and last craziest guitar. All these stories had a common beginning and maybe even something in common with you. Each and every one of them started with nothing more than a dream and a desire to learn playing guitar.
