What do you think about this?

Well I'm a guitar player, bass and lead, and I really think it would be cool to play the violin on all because of this Fort Minor Song (Believe me), but do not know if I can afford. Of course I would be teaching, which obviously will not be easy but I need to know how much it would cost only a beginner violin, plus all equipment and material that goes with it. Is it difficult to learn alone. I learned playing bass but the fact that I knew how to play the guitar that made it much easier. I just need to know the cost and their opinion on what I should do about it

Just a note. Believe me my favorite song is Fort Minor. And I hate all other rap: P. Depends on the violin. It could cost 300-600 dollars for a beginner violin. Maybe you should just rent (which is obviously less money.) As for equipment, bows can cost an arm and a leg too. My advice is that you rent the arc + violin, and everything else is cheap (rosin, mute, off the shoulder)
