playable guitar stand

First Electric Guitar?

Hey, i’ve been playing guitar (classical and acoustic) for about 4 years now.. and i wanted to try on an electric..
the thing is, i dont know much, or anything actually about electric guitars and i want to get something as cheap as possible but still playable (not to mention i would have to buy an amp as well)..
so on a tight budget, any recommendations?
i was thinking squire bullet hss, epiphone les paul special 2, yamaha pacifica 012.. and so on…
i wanna use the electric to play slow paced stuff, would love a tone like santana’s.. (nah, cant afford a prs anytime soon) or maybe something blues like.. like in the solo of the rascal flatts song – stand..

Fender Squier Strat is the generally-accepted ‘beginner guitar’ – i’ve had one for ages now and it’s a nice little guitar which you can pick up for about £100 in most guitar shops..

Alternatively you could get a slightly more advanced one which will set you back a bit more, and for these, have a look at Ibanez, they’re nice
