is the schecter tempest a good guitar for the price range?

i was at guitar center today and noticed that this guitar had an incredible clean tone and played good with distortion. i was wandering if, for the same price, there were better guitars out there

theres better guitars, but the tempest is badass. try some of the standard strats, maybe the schecter c-1 plus, its a very nice schecter as well. try some of guitar centers new esp’s as well
