PS2 Guitar Hero Compatability with PS3??
I have the 60 GB PS3 so I know I can play any PS1 or PS2 game… My question is can I play Guitar hero for the PS2 on my PS3 with the new guitar Hero PS3 guitar?
OR
Do I actually have to use a PS2 guitar on my PS3 to play it?
If so, how? Does it connect wirelessly?
I know the game will work…. But, will the PS3 guitar work with the PS2 version of the game?
No, The PS3 guitar will not work for Guitar Hero 1 or 2 for PS2.
I just purchased Guitar Hero 1, 2 and 3 and I am unable to play 1 and 2 with my PS3 wireless guitar.
I have not tried the PS2 guitar on the PS3 with the PS2 games. You can buy a PS2 controller converter for the PS3. I have a converter for my PS2 controller, but I don’t know if it will work with the guitar. I don’t see why not, but then again I don’t know why I can’t use the PS3 guitar for Guitar Hero 1 and 2 for PS2. The converters are only about $15.
