It is never too late or too early to learn to read guitar music. Many guitarist start teaching guitar music themselves after to study a piece of music on the radio or a CD. This is a great starting point and allow you to understand different notes and chords.

Basics

In a guitar tab staff has 6 horizontal lines. Each of these horizontal lines represents a string on the instrument. The line at the bottom of the staff is lower "E" string on the guitar. The next line of the bottom line represents the "A" chain and so on. These are the elements basic learning to read guitar music.

Chords

A major chord is the first chord, and learn to play the first chord you will see when they learn to read guitar music. A major chord has only 3 different notes. No more than 3 notes are used in a chord of a major general and can be repeated more than once.

Discipline

The key to learning to read music guitar is discipline. Good learning techniques and have an excellent teacher who ensure you get the most from their lessons. Once you've learned the basics of guitar music, you will be easier to progress in advanced guitar music.

Writing guitar music

By learning to read guitar music is important to see how to write music. Note the use of chords in different sections of the music and take note of what easy flow of the chords. When you become more advanced and start writing their own music for guitar, these techniques will help you.
