how do i get guitar hero world tours guitar to work on rockband 1 (ps3) it says i need to install a mic to pla?

I have rockband 1 on the ps3 and cant get the world tour guitar to work.
when i click to start the game it comes up “need to install a mic to play vocals” and i dont know how to change it so it recognises that i have the guitar installed.
