Chubs: Don’t worry–I already knew that Reed played guitar in Elvis’ cover. I believe Elvis’ guitarist (not sure if it was James Burton at the time or not) couldn’t figure out the guitar parts, so they got Jerry Reed.

Elvis’ version is definately better ! ! He has an AMAZING voice !
