Suction Cup Tuner turn acoustic guitar into acoustic-electric?
I found an electric tuner online that’s a microphone that suction cups to an acoustic guitar. On the other end of the mic is a cable that plugs into the tuner. I was wondering if that cable could also be plugged into an amplifier to act as an acoustic electric.
Because that would be the only reason I would buy it. So would it work?
Don’t but the tuner based on that. The mic probably has a limited bandwidth. Enough for the tuner but not enough to sound good through the amp.
If you’re wanting to plug your acoustic into an amp, then buy a pickup made for that purpose, and then get a tuner with a built in mic.
