Using Ps2 Guitar On Ps3
PS2 Guitar Hero on ps3 question?
I have world tour and legend of rock for ps2 and both the band kit and the guitar kit for each. if i take the game and the instruments (with an adapter) and put it on the ps3 will it work? Also can i play legends of rock with a ps3 controller like i can with a ps2 controller with a ps2.
Also what if i buy ps3 instruments and use ps2 games? what if i use older games such as the first 2 with ps3 instruments?

It appears that no one has a real answer for this… Everyone says something totally different…. or stupid….
I was told by the guys at game stop that you have to have ps3 guitars (etc.) to play the ps2 GH games on the ps3.
The adapters so far appear to be a hit & miss thing. some will work, some won’t. I bought some a while back, specifically so I could play GH on my ps3. And the guitars did nothing… I’ve heard that the drums are even more iffy with the adapters…
Also, I would hope your ps3 is backwards compatible. Otherwise I doubt you’d be asking in the first place…
I’ll be watching to see if anyone can give you a real answer – WITH PROOF…
