Guitar Hero World Tour VS Rock Band 2?

So for Christmas I would like to buy one of the two, but I'm not sure I like and I received … mixed reviews both look great .. my cousin tells me Guitar Hero WT is much better (and I've played that one at Best Buy lol) but I have two friends with Rock Band 2 to say is the best … to tell me: 1. To have a better quality guitar controller, because I'm more interested in the guitar than anything else. 2. Which has better songs than of which can be downloaded as more than likely not going to use Xbox Live 3. From his own experience, what they prefer and why? Besides, I might add this is going flat inthe Xbox 360.
